1.This Gift Voucher is issued by Reliance Retail Limited (Reliance). 2.This Gift Voucher is redeemable, and it is valid only for a period of 12 months from the date of receipt. 3.Gift Voucher can be redeemed at JioMart online platform in India. This GV cannot be used on 3P products (Third party products listed on Jio Mart Platform) 4.Gift Voucher can t be exchanged for cash. This Gift Voucher can be redeemed only once. 5.This Gift Voucher is not valid on purchase of Gold/Silver Coins, baby food, alcohol, tobacco, and can be redeemed only against the purchase of qualified products from reliance signature, reliance smart bazaar, reliance smartpoint and reliance freshpik. 6.This Gift Voucher cannot be redeemed in parts and needs to be redeemed for full value. 7.A Gift Voucher is redeemable for a single order only. Also, multiple Gift Vouchers cannot be redeemed in a single order. 8.No extension of the Validity period nor refund of the value of Gift Voucher in case of failure to use the Gift Voucher on or before the validity period. 9.Reliance shall not be responsible for loss or misuse of Gift Voucher and no duplicate or compensation in lieu of the Gift Voucher shall be given by Reliance. 10.Reliance overall liability will not exceed the value of the Gift Voucher. 11.Bearer of the Gift Voucher shall be deemed to have read, understood and accepted these terms and conditions. 12.Bearer of the code of Gift Voucher is deemed to be the beneficiary of this Gift Voucher. Any redemption by the bearer of Gift Voucher shall be considered as a valid discharge of liabilities by Reliance. 13.Reliance shall not be liable under any circumstances towards any loss or damage or expenses or cost or any third-party liability, whether directly or indirectly arising out of or in relation to use of Gift Voucher and redemption thereunder by the bearer. 14.Reliance reserves its right to modify/amend the terms and conditions of the Gift Voucher at any time without prior notice and such modifications shall be binding on the user/bearer of the Gift Voucher. 15.Any dispute with regard to Product liability, guarantee, warranty and quality of the Products to be purchased under redemption of the Gift Voucher shall be addressed to the respective Manufacturer/ Brand Owner and Reliance shall not be held responsible/liable for the same. How are digital gift cards delivered?
When the Thankbox is sent the recipient receives a unique and secure link to redeem their gift. They choose their currency, retailer online gift card of choice or prepaid Visa or Mastercard option, and are then sent the virtual digital gift card, or individual e-voucher to their Inbox.
How does the recipient spend their digital gift voucher?
Once the recipient has chosen their currency, retailer online gift card of choice or prepaid Visa or Mastercard option they can then go shopping. Ensuring to select any ‘pay by online gift voucher’ or similar option at checkout.
Many stores will also allow any virtual gift card to be used for more than one transaction, up to the gift card collection total amount. Split payments between virtual gift cards and credit cards are also common with many retailers, as are payments in physical stores, John Lewis being a good example.
Does adding to an online gift card collection have any fees?
We add a small fee to each gift contribution to cover our payment processing & fraud check costs.
This amount varies depending on the currency you are collecting in: 🇬🇧 GBP collections are charged at 1.1% + £0.17. e.g. contributing £10 means you'll pay £10.28 🇪🇺 EUR collections are charged at 2.5% + €0.17. e.g. contributing €10 means you'll pay €10.42 🇺🇸 USD collections are charged at 2.9% + $0.19. e.g. contributing $10 means you'll pay $10.48
The fee is always clearly and explicitly stated whenever someone leaves a contribution.
To minimise fees when making multiple contributions you can top up your gifting wallet once and use it for multiple Thankboxes.
Are payment details handled safely?
Thankbox uses Stripe as our payment provider. They are the gold standard for internet payments, used by companies such as Airbnb, Lyft and Booking.com. They handle all of the payment details, including security.
All collected digital gift card funds are stored in a dedicated secure bank account with restricted access.
Can I pay for my Thankbox from the collection pot?
100% you can!
